Are you ready to take control of your business’s finances? We’re thrilled to announce our Accelerate Financial Management Program, a comprehensive course designed to equip women entrepreneurs like you with the tools and knowledge needed to master financial management.
Sponsored by Cooperative Federal Credit Union, and led by industry expert Chris Belna, Owner of A La Carte Business Services and Arete HCM Solutions Inc, this program covers everything from budgeting and bookkeeping to financial statements, forecasting, and building credit.
Key Information
- Dates: April 24, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22
- Sessions: Five total sessions. One session per week, for 5 weeks
- Session length: Each session is two hours long
- Duration: Five Weeks
- Format: Four Interactive hybrid sessions (Available in person and on Zoom), and one in-person session with Cooperative Federal Credit Union
- Location for in-person: WISE Women’s Business Center, 100 Madison St, Equitable Towers (formerly the AXA Towers) Lobby, Syracuse, NY 13202
- Cost: $25 price is kept low due to a generous donation from Cooperative Federal Credit Union
Who is this program for?
This program is ideal for women who have an established business, or are getting ready to launch their business.
It may not be as beneficial to people whose business is in the ideation stage [The ideation stage marks the initial phase of starting a business. Here, entrepreneurs come up with a business idea and begin outlining what the business could look like before taking any additional formal steps to launch the business].
What to Expect
- Budgeting Basics: Gain practical insights into creating and managing budgets effectively, helping you allocate resources efficiently and drive business growth.
- Essential Bookkeeping Skills: Learn the fundamentals of bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records and make informed business decisions with confidence.
- Understanding Financial Statements: Dive deep into financial statements to analyze your business’s performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic decisions.
- Mastering Financial Forecasting: Explore techniques for predicting future financial trends and outcomes, empowering you to plan ahead and mitigate risks effectively.
- Building and Managing Credit (special last session run by Cooperative Federal): Discover strategies to establish and build credit for your business, unlocking access to funding opportunities and facilitating long-term financial stability.
1:1 financial coaching is also available through this program with our expert instructor, Chris Belna.
