Small Business Resilience Course

Summary: The WISE WBC Small Business Resilience Program is free and designed to help women small business owners prepare and respond to the economic impacts of the pandemic and its effect on their workplace, their employees, and their customers. The online course can be accessed any time and is available in both English and Spanish.

  • Cyber threats
  • Managing employees
  • Managing remote customer service
  • Effects of reduced travel or outside activities on your small business

EXITO! series

Summary: EXITO! is a multi-level workshop series offering in-depth instruction to a cohort of 15-20 students. Sessions roll out throughout the year and are offered in Spanish and English.

Accelerate business plan writing (1)

Accelerate: Business Plan Intensive (current cohort full)

Summary: A hands-on, 7-session program where you learn about each section of the business plan and write your own. Early bird rate is $100, then $150 after 9/10. Fee waivers available.

Schedule: Begins 9/30. Class meets Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30. Applications are currently open.

Audience: Those with newly launched businesses or a well-researched business concept.

Building Blocks for Starting a Business

Summary: An introduction to entrepreneurship and starting a business. Learn the basic ideas on determining a need in the marketplace, target marketing, unique selling points, and building your support team.

WISE Power Hour

Summary: Join the WISE WBC Coaching Team via Zoom for an energetic lunch hour conversation around important small business topics. Each week will feature a central topic (and on occasion guest expert) to discuss best practices that will challenge you to push your ideas and strategies even further.

Audience: People looking for a deeper dive into a range of timely topics
