Congratulations, you’ve hired your first employee. Now it’s on to compliance and understanding employer responsibilities under COVID-19 leave laws, pay equity, and more. Along with Human Resources Consulting Director, Casey Cone, OneGroup, we will tackle some of the biggest areas of compliance and help you understand key resources to set yourself up for success and remain in the know.

About Casey:
Casey Cone has more than 15 years of experience in the human resources field. She began her career as an intern in the human resources department of Hanford Pharmaceuticals in Syracuse, New York, where she was ultimately hired as a human resources administrator. With advancing knowledge and continuous growth, Casey continued on to hold positions as a human resources generalist and as a human resources manager, where she was responsible for all aspects of the company’s human resources activities.
Casey joined OneGroup in 2011 as human resources consultant and took on the responsibility of assisting many of OneGroup’s existing and prospective business clients with a broad range of human resources essentials. She worked in recruiting, onboarding, training and performance management of employees; maintaining regulatory compliance; assuring satisfactory employee relations; and facilitating human resources assessments, corporate policy development and strategic planning. Now, Casey is responsible for overseeing the HR consulting division of OneGroup.
Casey strives to develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs in order to better offer them guidance. She is highly organized and adept in providing client resolutions.
Casey holds a bachelor’s of science in industrial relations and human resource management from LeMoyne College and holds her Accident, Life, and Health License. She has also earned her Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) and her SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP), exemplifying her advanced level of HR knowledge and skill.
